Dear all,
It occurred to me that shopping windows are so attractive to us in our day to day lives, especially when on holiday. They show us what the city has to offer, being the essential link between the street scape and the architecture, or between the outdoor and indoor environment.
While I was away in Venice last year, I made a collection of shopping windows that most stood out for me. And you could say that everything grabbed my attention, from small bakeries to art galleries, and that's because Italians know how to do it..keeping it small and within eye's reach. That's what human scale is all about. That's what Venice is all about!
